“Locust Grove”… All in the Family
There were many important considerations when the company was being established. A key component of the process was coming up with a name that has ties to the area.
Company founder Brian Sweeney’s grandparents had operated a seasonal hotel, The Locust Grove House, outside of Arkville during the 1940s and ’50s and it was agreed that reviving the Locust Grove name would provide “roots” linking to a past family business.
